Hi all,

In case you're not reading our new ActiveRDF blog [1], a status update.
We are very busy getting everything in place for a release in the next two
weeks. This means: writing unit tests and updating documentation.

When that is finished, we'll release ActiveRDF 1.0 and make some noise
about it.

What has happened recently:
- moved all of ActiveRDF to RubyGems, making it much easier to install,
- wrote an FAQ [2] on things that have come up on the list frequently
- written a lightweight in-process datastore called rdflite (based on
sqlite3) that -on small datasets- outperforms sesame2 and yars,
- added pagination, full-text search, count, distinct, and ask queries with
  arbitrary where clauses to rdflite,
- ongoing testing of ActiveRDF and rdflite in three running projects in
  DERI.
- rewritten the faceted browser from scratch, to use the new ActiveRDF.
The new ActiveRDF API is really much nicer to work with.

So...wait two weeks, and in the meantime, read the blog.

 -eyal
