Dear Ruchir,
Great. Could you kindly tell which sensor nodes did you used for deploying these 64 sensor nodes?
If you used TPGF nodes, you can run TPGF routing algorithm on it.
Or, if you want to run your own routing algorithm, you can try to create your own sensor nodes as new plug-ins.
And, you can create your own routing algorithm by using existing TPGF and GPSR as examples. It is quite flexible
for you to create your own routing algorithm in NetTopo.
For visualizing Xbow WSN, you need to setup Xserver for Xbow WSN first, so that you can get the XML stream output
from the local IP address and port 9005 (normally). Then, the visualization of the Xbow WSN is very straightforward.
Hope this can be helpful.
I am sorry that we have not got enough time to write the help file. But you may try to download our latest technical report
to have a look. There are a lot of information in it.
Best regards,
Lei SHU

Hi Lei,
Thanks for your reply! So here is what we did we made a topolgy with 64 sensors and giving it the various parameters like battery life, MTR and others. Now after that what should be our next step?
We tried to Vizualise the network it say it will connect to the Xbow network Vizualzer and ask for IP addresses. So we are stuck there also there was no help file so we got lost, sigh . please help :) We are very close to project deadline.

Ruchir

Dear Ruchir,
If you need to Simulate the Topology of 64 sensors of a bridge, you can easily use NetTopo to create it.
What you need to do is to use the composition of several lines sensor nodes and customize it with your requirements.

Hi Lei,
Thanks for your reply!! so here is what i need to do.
I am trying to simulate the GGB sensor network project. we are using it to develop our strain guage application over the same network
http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~binetude/ggb/
we would like to compare our simulation we use to the simulations we generate from NetTopo. We are referring the paper published by the GGB project team. I am attaching that.
Our aim is to use NetTopo to make a simulation for 64 sensors which are being attached to the bridge. The topology is attached as a .bmp file.
It would be great if we can use compare the simulation results from NetTopo and the findings of the paper. We are under a big deadline for our project. It is for my Massters project. Our deadline is 4th Dec
Thanks,
Ruchir

Dear Ruchir,
Thanks a million for using NetTopo.
I will try my best to help, could you kindly write more information to tell what you want to do.
Please write email to NetTopo's mailing list: nettopo at lists.deri.org.
I might not be able to reply your email immediately tomorrow, since I will be on the flight for more than 30 hours.

Hi,
I am using nettopo to simulate GGB sensor network
application. Nettopo has such mazing features however. it is
hard to find a help file which will let me use all the
features that you provide. i tried the demo it is great.
I am now using NetTopo.jar to create a .wsn file however i
am unable visualize the network. I am trying to simulate a
network of 64 nodes. I have no clue how to simulate the
network map i make. Kindly help!! My email id is
